Member applications

The member application feature allows users to apply to join the publications of Smart Spaces (projects, ideas, etc.). This makes it possible to facilitate team building for projects andencourage users to collaborate by offering their skills and expertise.

Members can apply by clicking on a button to express their interest. The authors and co-authors of projects and ideas can then accept or reject applications. Once accepted, members become part of the project team.

If their application is accepted, they can view the publication and associated collaborative tools (private comments or public commentseconomic evaluations...). If the publication's author so wishes, they can edit the publication.

💡 This feature can also be set via the permissions Smart spaces, allowing administrators to define who can accept or reject applications and to what extent steps of the workflow.
