What is a smart space?
Marylink Smart Spaces are online collaborative spaces that enable members of an organization or community to work together on projectsto share information and resources, to communicate and collaborate.
Smart spaces can also be used for timed challenges, for example internal or external hackathons.
We can also create smart spaces to receive information and content to be "pushed" to the AI. See the methodology's Push mode Push-pull...
Smart Spaces are designed to be flexible and customizable according to the needs of each organization, community or ecosystem. Members can create publicationsThey can also invite other members to participate.
They are organized by category (see Smart spaces categories), making it easy to browse and find content. Members can also use tools such as calendars, files, polls and to-do lists to organize and track their work.
How does it work?
MARYLINK Smart Spaces are organized into stepsalso known as internship gatesThese are used to define workflows for innovation projects and processes. Each stage gate corresponds to a specific phase of a project, with clearly defined objectives, tasks and deadlines. Users must complete the objectives and tasks of each stage before moving on to the next.
Example of workflow steps in a smart space
For example, a product development process might include stages such as requirements definition, design, prototyping, testing and production release. Each step would be a stage gate with specific tasks to be accomplished, deadlines to be met and expected results.
Workflows in MARYLINK's Smart Spaces track the progress of projects and innovation processes, and facilitate collaboration between team members. Users can see where they are in the workflow and what is expected of them to take the next step. Workflows also ensure that projects and processes are well managed, and that deadlines are met.
Many permissions are also used to define workflow steps and the actions that each member level can perform at each step.
Smart spaces + GPT?
GPT and Smart Spaces are two great features that can be used in a variety of ways. handsets to offer great flexibility and power in content creation and management.
GPT is a machine learning model that has been pre-trained on a large amount of text data, enabling it to automatically generate coherent, relevant text on a wide variety of subjects.
Smart Spaces, meanwhile, are collaborative workspaces that allow users to share ideas, comments and files on specific projects, while providing an organizational structure for content creation and management processes.
By combining GPT and Smart Spaces, users can benefit from the power of GPT to create or analyze content quickly and efficiently, while using Smart Spaces features to organize and manage that content.
Permissions in Smart Spaces workflows can be used to control the access and actions of different users, which can be particularly useful for collaborative projects involving many participants.
Use case: collecting and selecting projects
You can use a Smart Space to manage the identification and selection of promising projects. When creating a new project in a Smart Space :
- The internal members can submit project ideas,
- The external members can comment on the ideas submitted,
- Administrators can select the best ideas and choose which project to launch.
This workflow is just one of the countless collaborative processes enabled by Smart Spaces.
